High level

In an effort to perfect my craft, I’m currently touring and drumming with Grammy Award Winner Drake. I’m also the founder and lead composer at Against The Grain Productions (ATG), a full service audio house specializing in film and television scores.

Where it all began

Before being fully capable of reaching a foot pedal at the age of three, my passion for the drums was evident. I started playing church services at a young age, where my sense of timing and rhythm naturally seemed to click. My enthusiasm for music grew as I got older, and I knew I wanted to be a drummer. Despite all odds and the music industry’s seemingly lack of recognition of drummers, I laboured tirelessly toward my goal. 
 

During highschool I received many music awards, which included being named Musician of the Year for three consecutive years. Shortly after, my school was granted the Band of the Year Award in an Ontario-wide musical competition. While still in high school, I was given the opportunity to play with the Toronto-based choir Freedom 2 Worship. This led to me playing in my first live recording, which propelled my recognition in the Gospel Canadian music industry. I guess you could say I've been living that dream ever since.
